Case Highlights and Depth of Experience

Tim’s practice includes transactions and litigation with a focus on corporate issues, business development, finance, real estate and construction. Tim practices in both state and federal courts, including administrative proceedings, bankruptcy and appeals. Tim also represents a wide variety of clients, both individuals and business entities, such as financial institutions, real estate developers, restaurant and bar owners, construction companies and several international businesses.

Tim graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1991, and worked for the Texas Attorney General. Tim became licensed in Hawaii in 1992, where he practiced commercial, real estate and international litigation. In 1995, Tim became licensed in Arizona. He worked in private practice with another prominent Phoenix-based firm before leaving to serve as Chief Legal Officer for a large financial institution, where he managed their legal department. Tim was responsible for all corporate legal matters including loan documentation, banking, securities, human resources, construction, foreclosures, intellectual properties and commercial transactions. In 2001, Tim decided to re-enter private practice and became a partner with Ryan Rapp & Underwood, PLC.
